The United Benefice comprises the parishes of:

 Beercrocombe,   Curry Mallet,   Hatch Beauchamp,  Orchard Portman, 
Staple Fitzpaine,   Stoke St. Mary (with Thurlbear)  and   West Hatch

The benefice was formed in 1997 when two independent groups of parishes each with their own parish priest
were combined under one incumbent and an ordained 'House for Duty' Assistant Priest.
